BOHOL ISLANDS

My vacation in Bohol isn't complete without hearing/witnessing BOHOL MUSIC and MUSICIANS!!!
"PLAY 4 YOU" band at "Bohol Tropics Resort" in Tagbilaran City, Bohol where we stayed.
These musicians play great!!! If you want to hear "cool" music, I recommend to HIRE and HEAR them!!! They can even sing Korean songs. I, myself became a fan!
I jammed with them. Sorry guys for screwing up your last set:) I almost turned/changed it up into a reggae mode as a "reggae man" but per analysis the crowd was laid back and relaxed, so why change the mood, right? If I did, I would have screwed up their night even more:) LOL

They're so professional to let me come up the stage, though I probably ruined their night:) Promise, I will practice next time:) LOL

(After the live band, my bro-in-law and I went to the Videoke Bar in which we were the only customers and went to the disco house when the bar was closed. Again, they're inside the "Bohol Tropics Resort" where we stayed. When the disco house was closed, we went to the popular METRO where we ate pochero and soup together with the tricycle driver. Hey, Boholanons are great and friendly people! We had fun there! Salamat mga Sano!)
Taken at the Floating/Riverboat Restaurant in Loboc, Bohol where we ate buffet of seafood and local delicacies while we enjoyed watching the mountains, hills and "busay" waterfalls. My daughter almost finished the fruits:) Onboard was a local "acoustic" musician that can also sing Korean songs. Awesome! Had a chance to do "folk songs" duet with him. Amazing talent!
Near the waterfalls, our Floating Restaurant stopped at another boat and onboard was a group of local talents. No degree in music or whatsoever but they can really play music well! Beat up music instruments can't hinder their ability to show/perform their gifts of music. I almost jammed with them!
Engr. Efren Felicio, a Pintuyan town top councilor (future Mayor:), my bro-in-law and a keyboardist enjoyed their music too!
At the Waterjet terminal (going back to the island of Cebu City), I had a chance to hear music from a group of blind musicians. A very humbling moment which let you think how God takes care and shows His miracle and Love inspite of all our imperfections. Let's you think and realize that we aren't better than them and on the other hand, let's you think that you can do anything... They are inspirations and they've got the REAL GIFTS OF MUSIC!!! Support them!
SALAMAT MGA SANO!!! I love the original/classic "Bol-anon" song! I heard it from my bol-anon friends here and I heard it again at the Floating Restaurant! Cool! Next vacation, we'll visit Bohol for a longer time...
(To the surfers/readers, consider visiting Bohol Islands if you plan a cheaper but worldclass tropical-type vacation! Cheaper because it's the newest/current attraction right there in the Philippines. Have fun!)
